Professional Pilot Certificate and Rating Program

AA 2310 is the course end exam for the Professional Pilot Certificate and Rating Program.

It prepares students for a career as a professional airplane fixed-wing pilot through FAA CFR 61 training. The program offers a comprehensive and hands-on instructional approach to help students earn the necessary certificates and ratings for their desired career path. This program also allows students to obtain a multiengine commercial license, with a focus on obtaining the single-engine commercial license first. With this approach, students have the opportunity to obtain a Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) rating, making them eligible to join A Aeronautics' team of instructors.

For students who already possess an FAA Private Pilot Certificate, they can pursue a Bachelor of Science - Professional Pilot or Associate of Applied Science degree through Utah Valley University's (UVU) Aviation program online. FAA flight training is a requirement within the curriculum, and, upon graduation, students will have obtained a minimum Commercial Pilot Certificate. Our program offers elective options for students to obtain additional certificates, up to Multi-Engine Instructor. This integrated degree program provides a comprehensive and efficient path to obtaining the necessary training and education for a successful career as a professional pilot.
